I just read about it. Said he was ejected from the car in a rollover accident.  Hes lucky to be alive but too soon tell how much his quality of life will be affected. Hope hes not paralyzed.

He ejected on to concrete.  ICU equals ventilation.  He needs some level of breathing assistance. There were rumors he was a heavy drinker.  Before the accident, he was at nightclub partying.  I'm not sure he'll be back in the ring.

Looked to be a Ferrari Spyder... Not wearing a seatbelt. Dude won a championship and a Darwin Award within months of each other. Awesome

I hear so far is that all he has is a few broken teeth.

Glad he's ok but what a fucking asshole to be driving like that.  No regard whatsoever for the safety of others.  Hope he learns a lesson and grows the fuck up.  He should spend some time with Shawn and Kenny Porter or Julian Williams and Stephen Edwards.  These guys are considered nerdy by many urban african americans but they are great citizens, work their asses to the bone and you can bet they won't become a statistic as Errol nearly did.

"Spence is awake and responding and is listed in stable condition," his representatives said in a statement. "He didn't sustain any broken bones or fractures but does have some facial lacerations. He is expected to make a full recovery."

Didn't lis lopes flip a landcruiser/4runner-type thing? Leaned to the left while driving, 1 hand on the wheel, talking to a passenger (vids online).

No shit!  Whenever someone is thrown from a car and lives people say it saved their life NOT having a safety belt on.  Why encourage people to not wear equipment that increases their odds of surviving an accident by 1,000%?

A guy I knew (Riff West, bass player for Molly Hatchet and Foghat) got in an accident, airbags went off, chemicals went into his lungs and stuff, and died a bit later from that poisoning.
(I did some websites for him in mid-90's for his "Animal Magnetism" benefit CD. Riff loved his furry friends... Amazing bassist.
