Maybe the law is different on your side of the pond. I believe in the U.S. the victim has the right to remain anonymous.  This for sure applies to media exposure. Since the man was cleared, this mean the woman lied and ceases to be a victim. Not sure why she was able to retain her anonymity.

It has gotten to the point where the disparity by how men are treated by society and how women are cannot be ignored.Men are 2nd class citizens in pretty much every way now.
