Ed Solomon, the writer of the 1997 Men in Black, took to Twitter Tuesday to tell about a rather awkward exchange with an unknowing pair of friends

The 59-year-old was sitting in a cafe when the two women next to him were arguing about the origins of Men in Black

He turned to them and said: 'If you'd like, I could clear that up for you'

To which one woman snarkily responded: 'I'm sorry, we do not need an old white male's mansplanation,' clearly not recognizing Solomon

Just think if an old white man said "I don't need a young black female womansplation".  CNN would pick it up for the next month, even if the old white man was a millionaire with an IQ of 140 and the black woman worked in fast food and was 22 with 4 kids!  So OFFENSIVEEEE LOL!

She felt the need to point out 3 things: that he was a man, that he was old, and that he was white. (All of which had nothing to do with the topic at hand)


It sounds like she is overly defensive and that she has some serious hang-ups.

Why is everyone assuming the two women were black and poor?

Most of the women who complain about old, white males and  use the word "mansplain" are white. And they were having lunch in a cafe that a professional writer works in during the day- back during the starbucks fiasco, weren't y'all claiming black people didn't go to places like that?

Well you're probably right. The real point to this is that when you're dealing with a woman of any color you're dealing with a creature that is functionally retarded to begin with and you're essentially wasting your breath trying to impart any knowledge on them whatsoever.
