This may be a fake memory, but I seem to recall something about her having a very rich schmoe boyfriend (husband even?) with great (chemical) connections..?  That lead to her famous 'transition' to a super hard body.  Some big guy with girly blond curls...  A twin, maybe?  Or am I mixing her up with someone else..?  I've read a lot of Dan Duchaine stories so this may well be BS - GetBig, do you know what I'm talking about..?
