My Health Update

For anyone who cares..................I do have C.O.P.D. which isn`t good and they re-scheduled my lung cat scan for tomorrow at 1 PM.

That`s all I got except to say thank you to all the guys who`ve been concerned about me via PM......it sincerely means a lot to me.

I`m feeling great actually and I`m remaining optomistic.

Thanks Joe,I appreciate that bud.

Twaddle,I smoked for many years but I no longer do.

I guess the damage was done.

It never seemed to bother me when training all out but lately I feel great  except when I exert myself then I have a bit of trouble breathing.

The doc prescribed a nebulizer today so hopefully that`ll help out.

Thanks for the update. COPD is nothing to sneeze at (pun intended). It is both treatable and manageable. So, that's good news. -Sending out positive thought for a good outcome from your lung CT scan tomorrow. Will you get same day results?

Sorry to hear that Wes.My dad got diagnosed with it maybe 10 years ago at 60 and he still lifts and hasn’t really had any issues with it.Said he feels best when exercising.He smoked from 11-60.you are in great shape and I’m sure once you adjust to it and any meds you will feel good again.Take care.

I know it’s not ideal mate but I’m Really glad you are ok and it’s not cancer, my father had it also (similar to you he smoked for years but the copd showed up years after he stopped) he still walked For miles up hills when he went shooting And could still put a hard shift in at work with me at 60+ So hopefully it won’t have much of an impact you are tough and a fighter mate I’m just pleased you are going to still be around for a while yet

Dont worry Wes my 92yr old stepfather has had it for years. Not a death sentence.

Not really out of the woods until I see whats up after tomorrows lung scan,but as I said,I`l trying hard to remain optomistic.
