You believe Scientology is a cult because you were told to believe that.  I already debunked Remini's claim that Jenna Miscavage is being held hostage or dead in a previous post.  It simply isn't true and she has never taken back her claim.  Cruise is not a deadbeat dad his ex wife doesn't allow him to see the child and this has been tied up in court for years.  She left the marriage and hid so he couldn't find his daughter if he wanted too.

Yes, I've read hundreds of "self help" books and this includes Hubbard stuff.  Most self help systems got a lot of their stuff from Hubbard even though they won't admit it.  NLP, Silva, Remote Viewing, Sedona Method, EST, Landmark Forum, as well as direct spinoffs of Scientology like Avatar, Access Consciousness, Eckankar, Knowledgism, Ron's Org, Freezone, etc, etc copied his stuff.  The whole remote viewing program used by the U.S. military was created by Ingo Swan who was a high ranking Scientologist and got his idea directly from Hubbard.

Anyone can leave Scientology if they want to and they have.  In the 70's Scientology and millions of members and today there is only around 30,000 members worldwide.  Almost everyone who was ever in Scientology left!  This totally debunks your claim that people can't leave.  Most of those complaining were in the Sea Org which they chose to join with almost no freedom and very little to no pay just like missionaries from any other religion.  Everyone who works with Cruise seem to enjoy his dedication to his craft and he has never hurt anyone.
