What should happen with Myles Garrett? Fine + rest of the season suspension? suspended the rest of this season and next + fine? Lifetime ban?

What happens to Pouncy?

Well, no on the first part of your post. I don’t think he’ll get a lifetime but it will AT LEAST not finish the season. If he did get lifetime, it wouldn’t surprise me, the kids was unprotected and that was damn near a haymaker when he was hit. If someone decided to press charges he’s be facing assault with a deadly weapon. It won’t go outside the field but that’s the other option

AFC North baby!  Reminds me of the Bengals vs Steelers years ago and Ravens vs Steelers.

Garrett suspended for remainder of season.

Pouncey gets 2 game suspension for kicking.

QB Mason 2 game suspension for instigating.

This lifetime ban shit is click baiting people who just love to be angry at its finest.

Only a few days ago, I saw the same bullshit for the late hit.  I've seen a lot of late hits and I thought that one was pretty tame and hardly vicious.

Haynesworth got a 5 game suspension for "curb stomping".  I think lifetime ban is a bit much.  4 - 5 games seems about right.

In recent years, the NFL has gotten so pussified, when shit like this happens, they make a big deal about it.  It really wasn't that big of a fight.  Bigger fights happen in practice, all the time.

the game was littered esp browns side with bad penalties a high helmet hit penalty,a pass interference called that offset between steeler reciever and safety both charged, but browns player basically held his jersey in plain sight.

nothing should happen to pouncey…. that's his quarterback!!! and his qb was pretty much defenseless w no helmet... that made lyle alzado and chris byrd look like a shoving match, lol.... violent men, playing a violent game... shits gonna get nuts every once in a while.. no one deserves a lifetime ban tho…. shit, mike Tyson bit an ear off and didn't get banned from boxing!

Garrett should get a 3 year suspension. Most likely will be 8 games. Problem is the CBA has limits on suspensions.

Fines for Pouncey and Rudolph (Rudolph did shove Garret) and a two game suspension for Garret.

Garret..end of the season for him. Possible $30-$40,000 fine. He will be the prime example of what not to do in any game...and probably forever. His punishment may be heavier, extended to the next season even.

Pouncey...two game ban.  Possible lower level fine $5,000.-$6,000.

Rudolph...Debatable. May plead self defense, only protecting himself against a weapon (helmets are heavy).  Wonder if Big Ben was the QB, what would happen?.

Ogunjobi ...one game ban & fine. Sucker punch from behind.

Some other players will be fined.

Total nasty game last night. I like to see old school smash mouth football when it's in control and played clean, within reason, but too many questionable hits meant to injury, not just to tackle or stop a player. Some of that interior line play was brutal, not to mention the helmet to helmet spearing.

Myles Garrett - will be done for the season, and perhaps his career.   Bad enough he attacked the quarterback, took off his helmet, but then swung that thing to his head.

The Steelers quarterback is ok, but what if he wasn't. This was clearly intentional, all the way from the start.

Myles is the pussy - he cheated, suckerhit and swung when the other player was not going to. Pathetic.

And he get a Nike contract for it...

Have to respectfully disagree with Funk51.

Rudolph could have been laying stone cold dead if that helmet (rather than the softer part)  had hit in just the right spot on the lower skull or side of Rudolph's head. Garret was extremely lucky that Rudolph does not have some form of brain damage and/or interior bleeding (really no extended medical report of any follow up damage to the QB so far this morning...sometimes it may take days, weeks or even month for negative responses to appear from head injuries).

Garrett has been suspended indefinitely, which means the rest of this season  and will have to go before the NFL board next year to see if he's is reinstated for the next season.  Any negative or bad behavior (domestic or whatever) reported and it will be over for him in the NFL.

i was just being facetious, but you have to admit how the game is being watered down every year by owners who are afraid of losing their big investments ie. quarterbacks and other skilled positions to a lesser degree. imagine if the marichal incident happened now in baseball.

We could have said that about a number of hits last night. A receiver left the game bleeding from his ear.

Thankfully He isn’t dead or hurt.  There is no place in the game for what Miles did but the refs need to do a better job of keeping these players in check.

Garret should have been suspended earlier in the season for some of his hits, so should have some of the D ‘s in the game for that matter, it doesn’t matter how much the rules have changed year to year the players need to abide by them.

I find it odd that in a league where players are routinely arrested for drugs and alcohol along with domestic violence, a guy who kneels during the anthem and now a player who exhibited zero self control on the field are the most polarizing.
