The Disney corporation is involed in so much having to do with entertainment. My perception, which is surely wrong, is of the Disney I knew as a kid, which was all about fairlytales, cartoons and the Mouseketeers. I'll stick with Netflix, Amazon Prime, Vudu and Hulu for now. Cable may becoming a thing of the past.

I despise what Disney has become so I do my best to avoid it like the libtard plague it is.  In fact, I NEVER watch television at home anymore.

This is pretty much me too.  I'm going to try it for a while but I'm sure eventually I will shit-can it like I did with Netflix.

Believe me brother, I understand. 8)  I got rid of Netflix several months ago.  I just can't stand what passes for entertainment now. I recently cancelled Amazon as I can't stand trying to speak with "Alexa".

I definitely am not an expert on good value intertainment packages. Each month, Xfinity extracts about $235. from my banking account. I've been their customer since 1983....no long term discounts though despite my asking for them. If we download pay per view movies that's an additional cost. Netflix gets $12.50 and Amazon Prime a little over $100 per year. I spring $15 for Sirius per month. So far, I've resisted going beyond the basic Pandora, which is free.

Cable IS dead. It just is dying slowly because a lot of old farts are afraid  to change anything.

All you need is an internet hookup these days. I dropped cable a few years ago and haven't missed it in the least. I bought a few Roku players and voila- more shit to watch than there are hours in a day. I happen to have Amazon Prime in my biz so I use it. I haven't paid for a movie since.
