I'm late to the party on this movie. I usually always like Luc Besson movies but for some reason I had never watched this one. I'm not the biggest Scarlett Johansson fan in the world so maybe that was the reason. Anyway, I watched this piece of shit last night. Let me just tell you, I've seen a lot of dumb-ass, shitty movies in my life but this one takes the cake. I want to start off by saying that the premise was absurd. It's that bullshit about how humans only use a small portion of the cerebral function (which I don't think is true but whatever). It was a stupid idea, to be sure, but not enough on it's own to make me hate the movie.
HOWEVER!!! For some reason the writer (Besson) thinks that if humans could tap in to 20%, 40%, 80% of your brain that somehow you be able to fucking fly, know everything, feel everything, control electronics, be a perfect marksman, be awesome at kung-fu, be able to fucking disappear, travel through time and space, and so on and so forth. If you can get past the idiocy of all that, then you get to deal with the wooden non-acting of Scarlett Johansson. Listening to her monotone voice trying to sound like a hyper-intelligent bad ass girl power chick was beyond laughable. I actually wish I was able to laugh at it but watching her on screen was painful. Looking at her stupid, ugly, douchey fucking face and watching her "performance" actually caused me physical, mental, and emotional pain.
I shit you not, this is the worst movie I've ever seen. If I ever win the 800 million dollar Powerball jackpot I'm going to spend the money buying up every existing copy of this movie, putting them into a Space-X rocket, and then launching them into the Sun. Fuck me, this is the worst movie I've ever seen, nay, the worst movie that's ever been made.........by a mile. I legitimately hate this movie. I'm angry at the human race for inventing movies and making it possible that someone would write and produce this monstrosity. I can't believe this movie was made. Was there not one person that could have said to Luc Besson "Wait, this is retarded. Don't make this movie"? If you want to have a laugh, (or a cry) then watch this movie. Has anyone here seen this?
