Has it been discussed here, yet?

A week ago, I thought it was the ugliest thing I ever saw. 3 days later, I was seriously considering pre-order, especially since it was confirmed that it will be available in matte black. I feel like it'll be a lot less polarizing by the time it goes into production, though, which I would consider a negative.

Does not seem practical with the angled rear hatch back. Unless it is removable? How are you going to haul a refrigerator or sofa on it?

They claim it's an exoskeleton car. Meaning that outer panels are not just panels that hangs there but they function as a subframe holding the weight/structure of the car.

that is pretty revolutionary if it's true.

...and the exoskeleton panels are out of stainless so they cut cost alot on not needing to paint the cars.

it is ugly but it's a clever build. Not sure if it will be a success though especially in the US where people cover long distances in cars.

Its unique for sure.
Nowadays everything on the road under 200k looks pretty much the same. If it was gifted to me, I'd take it.

To be honest, in some ways it is kinda cool looking and it's definitely functional as you mentioned above. Not my style but then I probably have none.

It looks blocky but google the Aerodynamic tests. It is similar to a stealth bomber. It looks simple in form but is a highly complicated machine.

That is called Monocoque/or Unitized Body Construction...since the 1930's...
