You never know, like the guy who drinks and smokes everyday and lives until 95
Genetics is everything
As is the case for my friend's grandfather. He turned 97 [in July, I believe], and smoked from around age 13 to 67. Something like that. Whatever it was, he was smoking for over 50 years. He was likely drinking for around the same amount of time.
My grandfather passed away two years ago. He would have been 81 on the 12th of this month. He died just before turning 79. Not super elderly by any means, but he did drink from age 10 to 74 and smoke from age 12 to 76. He was probably just around two years smoke-free by the time he died. And it's not like he quit smoking because of willpower or anything. With drinking - he drank himself sober, and I imagine he smoked himself smoke-free too. As in, it just got to the point that it was so disgusting to pursue it that his body made him stop.
I take nothing for granted though. In fact, as of 01/01/2020, I'm removing what minimal caffeine I include in my life. I drink about three large coffees a month, and I'll be stopping that. I drink a serving of alcohol roughly once every two months, but I'll be stopping that.
I will also be going mostly carb-free. I will just be including mainly vegetable carbohydrates in my diet. Some fruits, but I'm basically going 0 on refined carbohydrates. Predominantly vegetables, as said, and I'll decide what fruits to include [I'm thinking bananas and oranges - maybe dark berries, as I've heard they have some unique benefits].
While I am confident that most things are genetic, I've decided that I want my shitty evolutionary body to last as long as possible. I hope I can encourage as many friends as possible to join me. I hope they can keep their vices to the weekend - basically, in the form of cheat days. I find that there are many people who want their friends to join them in their vices. I absolutely do NOT want this.
I have a friend who absolutely wants me to join him in his alcohol addiction, obesity, and other bad habits. I feel the opposite - I want my friends to be as healthy as possible, and indulge, but only on the weekends.
Bodybuilding-related because I fear for the health of pro bodybuilders. It sucks that their identities are so caught up in being huge that they need to stay big forever, ultimately reducing their lifespans in the process. I met Milos Sarcev in 2007, and I appreciated his candor. He was 43 at the time, and had no problem admitting to me that he had been using steroids for 20 years. Hopefully he has curtailed the dosages and can maintain the size he did with a little over TRT + a good diet.
I like Milos, and a lot of the other pros discussed in this thread. I fear for their health's though.

I fear for everyone's health.
