Ronald Reagan had him beat, he had a full head of hair until his death in his 90’s, plus he was 6’1 and not a 5’7 like Lucas

My aunt told me if you have no hair loss whatsoever by age 26, your hair will more or less be there to stay.

In other words, even a 22-year-old is probably showing tiny signs of losing his hair.  Which is consistent with a lot of my friends from high school.  One of them was showing minor signs of hair loss by age 17.  He will be turning 40 in the Spring, and he is clearly balding by now.

So I would think my aunt was right with her 26 years old figure.

I have heard that hair loss comes from the mother's side of the family.  Does anyone know if that's true?  My friend and his two brothers are losing their hair, and their dad is bald from ear to ear.  I'm not sure what the males on his mother's side look like - but their hair loss looks like their dad's hair loss does.  It could be the same on both sides though.

I kept all my hair...but I started to go gray in High School...you could see that first single gray hair from across the hall...

I found out later that going gray while very young is a sign of thyroid problems.

Talk to tres about this. I’m about your age and still have thick hair but I’m paranoid because I had some shedding during an illness last year. I’ve started biotin at 4x dose and will probably start PRP twice a year. You’ll be working overtime at Autozone to pay for that though, bro.

My mom and dad said they would pay for PRP treatments.

No one can tell you this with absolute certainty.

The only thing you can do is shave all your hair off and wear a wig over your head. That way you will never look bald regardless of what your hair/genes decide to do. Fuck leaving it up to chance, take matters into your own hands.

Done.

The whole moms side is a myth, it’s both, genetics work in odd ways

Your Norwood pattern by thirty is usually established for most guys that start balding before hand.

Even while on 5a inhibitors.

A combination of minoxidil and finasteride usually maintains and haults hair loss for most guys.

I have great hair in my sixties. I get it cut every third week. Then put either gel or pomade in it for a perfect style. Yes, a good head of hair really looks great on a man among all the balding head shavers.  ;D

Haha!

This!

interesting to read a lot of success with dutasteride for hair loss. not RX in the states for hair loss (prostate issues) works very similar to Finasteride.

I am almost 40 years old and I still have pretty much a full head of hair.

Is this a good indicator that I won’t lose my hair anytime soon?

Yes, the age at which balding begins is different from person to person.  There's a surprising amount of bodybuilders that kept full heads of hair throughout the first part of their careers, only to begin balding rapidly after years of heavy PED usage.  Dan Hill, Cutler, Kai Greene, just the first to come to mind

Yes, Regan kept his hair well into his senior years. Unfortunately, he wasn't a lucky retaining his mind.

It nukes both 5ar receptors if I am not mistaken.
