Tepco is the power company in Japan that is covering everything up. At least 300 people there have severe radiation poisoning or cancer related to this and no press. Unreal.
It's too scary. The general public can't handle it.
But let's build more nuke plants, and if possible locate them near active volcanoes, on fault lines, bodies of fresh water or rivers, or in other high risk areas.
As far as those spent fuel rods, don't worry. Someday we'll figure out what to do with them.
