Biceps..
« on: December 12, 2019, 02:30:07 PM »
The best bicep exercise is strict cable curls. Keep your elbows tucked into your side and the lower part of your arm should do all the moving.

You really feel them?i do like light one arm cable curls elbow tucked curling inward and squeezing hard at contraction, haven’t tried bar in a long time.

Lately been loving seated alternate dB curls which I always hated but started doing a few months ago and the pump is insane after 3-4 sets.I have prob done them 5 times in my life prior to recently so I think I’m gonna enjoy them for a while.Mainly did barbell and hammer curls all my life.

Dorian Yates and Mike Mentzer preferred the old fashioned Nautilus Curl Machine for biceps. One arm at a time.

I agree but a little variant of this movement 21s

7 reps: half reps (bottom to mid point)
7 reps: half reps (mid point to top)
7 reps: full range of motion/full rep

biceps are the ultimate muscle group for bodybuilders.

plus whores love big arms  ;D

Those elbows are just the opposite of "tucked in".

Yup, I feel them. Get a great pump from them.

These days, I feel machines way more than free weights. The pump is much better.

It was just a pic for motivation, so we can all get big arms like Levrone.

Post the article telling me what I have to do to be reborn with new genetics, like Kev's genetics, so that I can look like that.

Favorite bicep builders are heavy rows and chins.
For isolation, spider/preacher heavy negatives...

The short head of the biceps attaches at the shoulder and so plays a part in flexion of the glenohumoral joint (ie: raising the arm upwards), so keeping your elbows tucked at the side isn't always going to get the strongest contraction.
