A freed slave and their descendants are ripe for exploitation. Without slavery there isn't that resource.

I've never exploited a black woman.

You still have provided no proof that the wealth of the US was created by slaves let alone freed slaves and their descendants.  It's a terrible argument that's devoid of any kind of facts.

What point are you trying to prove?  I asked you that direct question.  The US is a superpower because of slavery? How fucking stupid are you?  Yes, the US became a superpower because they exploited 10% of the population.  Genius point.  It wasn't because the US is an extremely resource rich country or the fact that we didn't have to fight two world wars geographically in our country or because millions of white Europeans flocked here in the late 1800's early 1900's and built the manufacturing powerhouse that was the US. No, it was slavery.  What a scholar you are.

I'll play nice and explain my statement to you in a cordial way.

I said exploitation was the key to becoming a superpower and then I gave examples of bottom dwellers in a society who were exploited. The reason I gave those examples was because someone mentioned the street shitters in India. My point was if India can exploit this "useless" portion of the population, just like other super powers found a way with theirs then it's possible for it to become a super power too.

Now pay attention.

You mention the action of making use of and benefiting from resources, well that is the very definition of exploitation! But I wasn't  replying to a post about natural resources and that's why I didn't give any examples of it.

Now be a good boy and stop being a dense fuck that's fixated on Slavery.

LOL.  Nothing like a condescending person that doesn't understand the difference between a fact and an opinion.  You asserted the US became a superpower from exploiting their slaves.  Totally historically inaccurate.  I talked about natural resources because that was paramount to the US becoming a superpower.  Exploiting slaves was not. If you wanna talk about exploiting people, you might want to look at the factory workers during the Industrial Revolution and see what they looked like.  Here's a hint, they weren't African slaves.

America is a super power because of Europeans that built this country. When ever you import third world people into a country who rely on free stuff paid for by the tax payers things start going south when they can vote.

So even when it's broken down and explained to you, you continue to try argue a point I didn't make by applying your own spin to it.

You didn't explain anything.  You just restated your factually and historically inaccurate opinion. Slavery was an important part of the southern, antebellum economy, but was not a major part of the US becoming a superpower.

Slaves were the bottom dwellers in society just as street shitters in India are right now. Guess what the Brits did with their bottom dwellers. They sent them to colonies!

If India work out how to make use of (exploit) their vast number of bottom dwellers then they will be on their way to superpower status and given the vast numbers it will happen fast.

Just to help you with your slavery fixation I'll break things down even further for you. Here are my exact words "the US exploited their slaves". Replace the word slave with poor and it reads the same. "the US exploited their poor". The poor weren't the bottom dwellers at the time though, it was the slaves.

Note I did not say "the US exploited slavery" which is what your whole fictitious argument seems to be about.

You really need to learn history.  Brits did not send their bottom dwellers to the colonies.  That's a pretty broad and inaccurate statement.  The British Empire viewed the American colonies as an extremely important region economically, militarily, etc. If you think they sent all the dregs over here, you are totally wrong.  Some prisoners were sent here, but it was around 10% or so of all the people that emigrated here before 1776.  You seem to have a historically inaccurate theory that to become a superpower, all a country has to do is exploit the "bottom dwellers" in that country.  That was definitely not true in America.  You said, "Countries become superpowers through exploitation. The British exploited their colonises, the US exploited their slaves"  Completely wrong.  Why wasn't the US a superpower in 1860 when slavery was at it's peak?  Why are the last states who had slaves in this country the poorest?  Shouldn't they be the richest since they exploited the most people?  You might seem like a smart guy when you're hanging out with your friends, who are probably all dumb as fuck, but you have a depthless view of history.

Hey dumbass I guess you've never heard of other colonies like Australia. Could you even find it on the map?

Keep trying to spin things to create a fictitious argument. It must pain you to see yourself constantly failing.

I'll provide proof, and I hope you have the time and intellect to read and understand. Although I'm sure, you'll conjure up some bullshit. But that's ok, HERE is the proof...

America’s Slaves Were More Valuable Than All Its Industrial Capital Combined
By MATTHEW YGLESIAS

Thomas Piketty and Gabriel Zucman have a new paper out about the historical evolution of wealth in a number of different prominent countries, and it features this chart for the United States that really drives home the amazing reality of America’s antebellum slave economy. The “human capital” consisting of black men and women held as chattel in the states of the south was more valuable than all the industrial and transportation capital (“other domestic capital”) of the country in the first half of the nineteenth century. When you consider that the institution of slavery was limited to specific subset of the country, you can see that in the region where it held sway slave wealth was wealth.

In their discussion, the point Piketty and Zucman make about this is that slave wealth was the functional equivalent of land wealth in a country where agricultural land was abundant. The typical European wealth-holding pattern was of an economic elite composed of wealthy landowners in a environment of scarce usable land. In America, land was plentiful since you could steal it from Native Americans. That should could have led to an egalitarian distribution of wealth, but instead an alternative agrarian elite emerged that did happen to own large stocks of land but whose wealthy was primarily composed of owning the human beings who worked the land rather than owning the land itself.

Here is the link to said paper http://www.parisschoolofeconomics.com/zucman-gabriel/capitalisback/PikettyZucman2013WP.pdf
