and her eyes may still be changing, mine are, they are gradually going worse as a lot of peoples eyes are.. try and read a bit more than just the first line of the advice refarding the age limit

She may have another medical condition that makes eye surey impossible, and she may just liek wearing glasses and not want to have surgery

I wear glasses and have no interset in having surgery, unlike you I am not likely to be bullied.

Oh and if you have it done when your eyes are still changing then you will need it done again, my wife had it done a few years ago, she now needs glasses for close up work

In my opinion, its akin to cosmetic surgery and not medically necessary, so I am not willing to risk the possible side effects, as I have no issue wearing glasses. I really don't see the issue with wearing glasses or contacts. But, to each their own, I guess.
