I have no proof but it is of my opinion that Ronnie is an opiate addict at this point. Which is sad. I hope it's addressed soon.
That's nice of you to say, but didn't you check out Ronnie's Netflix documentary? In it, I believe he stated that he takes 45mg Oxycodone every six hours - so 180mg Oxycodone daily. It may have been 40mg / six hours, but I think my first memory was right.
So...yeah, sadly...he is an opiate addict at this point. At the very least, he is getting his Oxycodone from the pharmacy, rather than the streets!
My concern is more along the lines of if he is purposely training the way he does, almost to get injuries on purpose, to up his prescription. That would be almost conspiracy level stuff, but opiate-seeking is something that people actually do, and maybe Ronnie is at a place where the opiates are taking most of the pain away, and allowing him to continue to live this lifestyle, and basically making him say "F*ck it - I'll do what I want."
I'm not getting the impression from Ronnie speaking that he has lost the will to live or anything. He just seems content training extremely hard, and treating his pain with opiates.
And -
I have no proof when I say this, but I think that Ronnie is using opiates a bit beyond simply relieving pain.
