This recent child was unplanned - as I was using the withdrawal method.

Regardless...when I get a woman pregnant, a switch immediately shifts in my mind that puts me in full DAD MODE right away.  I become super protective of my pregnant woman, and make sure I am prepared for the birth of the child, and all of the responsibilities that go with the role of caring for a new baby.

So that happened to me, and I got into that mode from the start [date of pregnancy ~November 13th, determined three of so weeks later when she missed her period].  So when the miscarriage happened on Monday, it wasn't something I wanted to hear four days before my birthday, and so close to Christmas/holiday time.  

I'm 38 now, and I think it would be best to have all my kids before age 42, so that I don't have to attend any high school graduations over the age of 60 / possibly in a walker, given my deadlift form.  So...while this lost child was not planned, I took it as a blessing, and I was happy about the timing.

But alas, it was not meant to be.

So as of now, I will not be planning for future children any time soon.  No pressure, but if a pregnancy happens, I'll embrace it.  Stan Efferding was 46 in 2013 with a new boy in the house, and a baby girl on the way.  We're men - while there are benefits for men having children under the age of 40, we don't have the same biological clock pressure as females.  I'm ultimately happy to have children ages 10, 9, and 2 at home, but there is no reason for me to have any/all future children by age 42 - or to really rush anything at all.

As for why I want to have a lot of kids:

[1] There has been nothing in my life more personally fulfilling to me than fatherhood [+ nothing where expectation met reality as consistently].

[2] White/Western countries are declining demographically, with our governments BENT on massively increasingly the populations of our societies [despite "global warming" being a huge concern, it's somehow a good thing to increase the population of the West by 50 million people per decade, where they will expend at least 5x as much as they would in the third world countries they come from.    Yeah, no agenda here or anything.

If Canada MUST have 265,000 new citizens added to its population each year, and if I can support the children I have and I am actively involved in their lives, why not have those children myself?

I think in 40 years, we're going to see a lot of childless White men and women who are devastated that they have no children.  Especially when they find out that diversity/multiculturalism was a scam intended to displace Whites to minority status, and they see our limited resources being doled out to every non-White family that we/Whites have been feeding, clothing, and hitherto coddling by way of tax-grabbing policies that have existed in our respective nations since the end of WWII.

Libtard Whites are going to be like "But these new diverse citizens aren't supposed to be having so many kids because of global warming!  I followed the rules and didn't have kids, and they should have to follow the rules too, rather than sit on welfare that I paid for!  Arrgghhh!!"

I love my kids.  My main concern is that my strong paternity instinct is not exploited by any gold-digging female leach.  Providing I skirt that, I will likely end up happy to continue to devote to being a dad.

You're a good dad. protect the mama and make sure you're a strong team, especially in front of the kids. Never dis her in front of them. Trust me. I'm happy for you, I got three kids and love them do death along with my wife. There is nothing better in life than a good, strong family.
