Joe Rogan Has an Out Of Control Bubble Gut After Sober October

Joe Rogan was at one point in unbelievable shape. However, when he weighed in after Sober October, that shape became a bit more grotesque.

Rogan is a man of many hats; from commentator, to comedian, and podcast host. Notably he is also something of a fitness advocate, regularly featuring trainers and coaches on his show. This comes as a result of his athletic background, doing Taekwondo and other martial arts. Subsequently, he has been know for being in killer shape.

Unfortunately, it seems at age 52, things are finally starting to catch up to Rogan. He did his annual Sober October activities with a group of his friends. This is a ceremony they do, giving up any drug or alcohol use for the entirety of the month.

Following the conclusion of Sober October, Joe Rogan and company weighed in to see their results. However it was here, that things took a turn for the wild. When Joe took his shirt off for the weigh in, he had a ridiculously protruded midsection. As a result, he looked like he had all of grandma’s leftover Christmas banana pudding for a stomach.

Rogan steps on the scale and immediately the talk is about his bloated core. He said he weighed in at 205 pounds, which is “ten pounds overweight.” Furthermore he attributed this to an uptake in carb consumption. Although looking at his stomach, it seems like a bit worse of a situation than that.

Joe Rogan honestly looks like something you would see in a bodybuilder using too much Human Growth Hormone. This tends to result in a protruding gut, similar to this. All of this is speculation, but if it looks like a duck, and sounds like a duck… In any case, it is not uncommon for athletes in that age range to partake in HGH usage.

He doesn't look bad. Compare him to the most men in their mid-fifties. He doesn't have a tiny flat waist but it's still solid with some abs showing through. By the time a man gets to middle age that gut becomes a real battle. People just had such very high expectations from him because he's a fitness animal and spends a ton of money on all these health-enhancing treatments.

Joe's in great shape and can kick some serious ass if he had to. Smart guy, too.

Stallone has been using HGH for decades and no gut. Milos used hgh and insulin for decades and no gut. Maybe eating so much causes that gut as it does everybody else that doesn't use gh and slin.

Gas, constipation, any number of things can distend your stomach.

Your midsection grows as you age mainly due to two factors.

Looser/less tight abdominal wall muscles and abs.
Fat distribution changes with age. Less Subcutaneous fat, and more intra abdominal fat.

The guy is over 50 if I remember right...

bodybuilders in the 80's and before did not develop this type of gut

These workout warriors spend way too much time exercising anyway.  Imagine spending hours a day working out to look like that.  The cortisol levels they produce from working out so much really works against them, like pushing a boulder up a cliff.

For a natural 52 he looks good. The majority of guys in their 50's look like absolute crap with their shirt off despite working out. For a bodybuilding drug user he looks bad. All those actors that look good for a role then lose it are users.  Daniel Craig, Sean Penn, Brad Pitt, Keanu Reeves, and Tom Cruise are users for a movie I suspect with the exception of Keanu Reeves. Daniel Craig was a skinny fat after all the James Bond stuff was done.  Sean Penn was always a skinny nothing then looked jacked. He's in his mid 50's.  You can tell he works out by looking at his shoulders and arms.  That widening gut is never going back down.  It's only downhill from here on out.
