Palumbo does have an odd voice. He seems to do a lot of interviews. Hisvoice must not be much of a problem.
Steve's tiny waist is amazing. It really sets off his upper body.
He does such natural interviews - but the "Muscle in the Morning" format sounds a bit...almost faked. Not labored, but...like unnatural in some way.
Contrast that with his on-the-spot interviews with bodybuilders, where he comes across as very knowledgeable, sincere, confident on camera, and...basically natural. I tried my best to copy Dave's format for bodybuilder interviews, because I always felt he did a great job with them. When Muscular Development hired Robbie Durand to replace Dave, I felt that Durand was doing the interviews more as a job then anything else. I think Durand was replaced next by David Baye, who I think did a good job with natural delivery for his interviews, similar to Dave's natural delivery.
Here's an example of an interview with Dave where he comes across as natural and sincere, as opposed to the canned format that he uses in his Muscle in the Morning program:
boy that is not a natural delivery, hard to watch and listen to
Yeah, lol. As you said, not a natural delivery. Which is funny, because Dave does a good job with all the other formats he does. Just that one...comes across as not natural.
I'm not sure if Dave would notice that, as it's hard to be our own critics. For me, as I said, I just sound so effing Canadian, LOL. I wish I didn't, but it's literally impossible to avoid.
