I'm in Aus tho bro. Picked up 6 acres with a view and a fieldstone house about 90 mins from Perth. Came cheap since everyone apparently still wants to live where they can hear their neighbor's toilet flushing.
Been thinking about taking the bow about a half hour south. Plenty of ferel pigs, although everyone tells me it's not such a good idea without a firearm backup.
The rural acreage thing often goes: two years heavy use, 3rd year kinda, 4th not much, and by year 5 it's too far so they stay in the city where they also wish they didn't live. When the fad fades the bubble will pop.
