Dude, of course you have an accent! To your bit of the world you sound the same but to the rest of the world you have an accent. I never understood why Americans don't think they have accents. I met a chick in Las Vegas and she said she loved my accent. I said I like yours to be polite (she sounded like Minnie Mouse) and she then asked me what language we spoke in England. I love Americans but 60% of you don't seem to know or care about the rest of the world.

I know what you mean by finding certain accents annoying, I am the same with particularly French accents, they just annoy me for some reason and I have to turn them off.

The Ricky Gervais-hosted awards averaged 18.33 million viewers, a scant 2 percent drop from the 2019 show's 18.61 million. The Globes fell a little bit more sharply in the key ad demographic of adults 18-49, dropping half a point to a 4.7 rating. That's a 10 percent decline year to year.
