The HKU research shows that Hong Kong has one of the highest meat consumptions per capita in the world at 664g/day/capita (equivalent to two pieces of 10-oz steak). Pork and beef consumption are the highest, with average daily consumption four times higher than the UK.

China has nowhere near as much meat consumption as the U.S. or several other countries.

China...but isn't Hong Kong a richer sub-sovereign state within the Chinese state?  Richer because of its colonial/capitalist history with superior White/British men, who made it a much more prosperous society as a result?

I have not been eating much meat lately, because I have been brainwashed by vegans.  Basically...I am having some guilt about eating sentient beings.  And that has been stopping me from eating a lot of meat.

Hong Kong and China are two completely different worlds:

"Hong Kong became a colony of the British Empire after Qing China ceded Hong Kong Island at the end of the First Opium War in 1842.  The colony expanded to the Kowloon Peninsula in 1860 after the Second Opium War, and was further extended when Britain obtained a 99-year lease of the New Territories in 1898.  The territory was returned to China in 1997."

This^

Hong Kong and China could in many ways be considered different states...

In the British deal Hong Kong will lose all rights in another 20 or so years... The Chinese are already rolling in though, hence all the protests.

I imagine that Hong Kong probably doesn’t have the obesity problem we do which has a massive effect on health.  I have cut down on meat over the past few years because I just feel better eating less.  That said, I still eat chicken, fish and eggs and have red meat rarely, probably less than once a month.  I don’t think meat is quite the culprit it’s been made out to be, however eating too much of it isn’t good.  Most people would be better off cutting out all processed foods and getting their calorie intake in check before worrying about anything else.

How much meat is too much, and why isn't it good?

BTW, Hong Kong probably doesn't consume anywhere near as many carbs and as many "vegetable" oils as Westerners do either.

See these three fucking idiots might have half a chance of their inane shit actually being listened to if they didn’t look like such annoying looking detestable cunts. I look any one of those three faces and the first thought is the intense desire to punch hard And have zero desire to hear anything they ever have to say

Yes.

Hong Kong is not China.

The Communist Chinese seem to think that just because people are the same race they should automatically be part of the same country.

Hong Kong was created by the British anyway, before they arrived it was an empty rock.
