If I remember correctly, we've been down this road before.
This thread is about COVID, not AIDS (actually HIV), not welfare, and not skin cancer. One major difference is that none of the other distractions you bring up are filling up hospitals with patients. Another difference is that this is Getbig where currently a few folks are actively discussing the pros and most of them the cons of a simple vaccination which if it doesn't prevent COVID it likely lessens the severity of the illness should someone contract it, thereby helping to reduce it's impact on the healthcare system.
Furthermore, it makes no difference how I feel about people refusing this vaccination and denigrating those (sheep) who chose to have it. In most of the world, people who are sick are not refused care...ever hear of the Hippocratic oath?
Hospitals are filling up with people from many other ailments.
You think when they say hospitals are at capacity its just people with Covid?
They only have a small percentage of beds for covid patients.
When was the last time you went to a hospital?

I went everyday from December 2nd 2020 until January 8th 2021 seeing an elderly lady I had been looking after, the hospitals were empty, they closed most of the wards to segregate people who had covid.
THe NHS in the UK has never been overwhelmed, they just shut the majority of the hospital down.
THe nurses on the wards were making fucking TicTock dancing videos they had so little to do.
