What I don't get is when people say this to me, "Too bad you don't like crab/lobster/sushi, it's so good."
I usually respond with, "Too bad you don't like eating cow brains, it's so good." And they usually respond with "gross" and then I say, "how's that any different than me thinking seafood is gross?"
Or, when I tell people I dislike all seafood, they appear really baffled. It's almost like it's the most shocking thing they ever heard. For some weird reason, people tend to be obsessed with trying to get me to try seafood. They are all like, "you need to try this. It really doesn't taste fishy" or "just try it." I just told the person I dislike all seafood.

If they keep pushing it, I just say, "I don't get it. I just told you I don't like seafood? Why do you think I am suddenly going to like it because of you?"
It's the same with dancing. I don't dance. Never have, never will. But, when I am out somewhere and people are dancing, they are like "come on just dance." And I politely decline, and they try to drag me out onto the dance floor. Why? I just told them I hate dancing. Why try to force someone to do something they don't like to do?

Another baffling experience.
