Now we can hear witnesses that I'm sure will exonerate him

I don't understand why McConnell would want to deny Trump the opportunity to have witnesses take the oath and tell the truth

This isn’t congress. The Republicans will be able to call witnesses too. I’m looking forward to hearing from the Bidens, Pelosi, Shifty and the Whistleblower.

I’m also hoping Rudy testifies.

I love the sarcasm. Of course these witnesses will exonerate him. ::)

I think one fear is that if Trump is made to look the martyr, it will actually work in his favor. However, more and more people are jumping on board with the idea of impeachment.

Even Judge Jeanine couldn't get a straight answer out of Rudy on his "evidence"

Why would Republican fear the testimony of a lifelong hard right winger (Bolton) whose PAC donated hundreds of thousands of  dollars to help elect Republican members of Congress

A witness can't get more friendly that that for Republicans

It would mean a bipartisan vote and likely means the system works.

When you have a partisan inquiry that doesn't make it's case with direct evidence, from a party that has actively been looking for something since the election, and it doesn't pass, that also means the system works.
