Dude, you can be a funny guy but do you ever have a good word to say about anyone? Your insults would carry much more weight if you selected your targets rather than attacking everyone.
Well, should I find something admirable about a person, I would say so. I really don't think Evan is admirable in any way I have seen. People such as him are liars. If it's okay for them to spew their rote then I see no reason why someone (and I am far from alone in doing so) should not only call them on it, but belittle them for it. For example, Joe Weider was complete charlatan. I used to train in a couple of gyms that one of his relatives used and they said he was a farce. Now, you can take that with a gram of gear or a grain of salt, because anything that is said here can be very difficult to prove and I have no problem with you not believing me.
Bodybuilding today is just a bloated (and less wealthy) version of Hollyweird.
By that I mean it is a facade. A whitewashed tomb that while it looks "nice" to the casual observer, once you open the door you realize that it's a tomb containing nothing but the real possibility of self induced illness and early death.
I don't cut myself any slack. I am not at all intelligent and my physique is nothing compared to many here whether or not they take PED. I am admittedly a fan of bodybuilding from the 40s through 1985 or so, I think Haney was way overrated and that Dorian should have lost more than once or twice too. Without the "helpers" the freaks would have remained tweaks.
The muscularly obese are ego driven and will ultimately wind up in an early grave and I think that's fine. If Evan is changing it remains to be seen. Anyone can "change", the key is to change for the better. If he does, in all likelihood it's due to something going on in the background (i.e., health related or legal "issues") that we're not (yet?) aware of.
