51 years old still impressive strength.... Wonder if he's lost much strength over the years?, I'm not that familiar with him.

Good question.  I saw him compete, I think in 2013, when he was 44, and I don't think he could have lost much strength at that point, as he was still competing with the best in the world.  That may have been at the 2013 LA Fit Expo.

Pretty amazing strength for any age, let alone for over 50.  Naturally, I fear for his health.

I fear for everyone's health.

As for Frank Mir, I think the strength disparity is what lost him his second fight to Brock Lesnar.  He even basically said as much himself in the post-fight interview.  Both were world class fighters, but Brock was bigger - and considerably stronger.

Frank is turning 42 this year.  I hope he hasn't positioned himself in such a way where he needs to keep fighting in order to live.  It seems to me that a lot of UFC fighters are like bodybuilders in this respect, and I can't help but feel badly for them.  I'm not even sure which of the two is worse for a person at this point.  I would worry about Frank being a candidate for CTE if he is still fighting [I haven't followed him lately].  I fear for Frank Mir's health too, of course.
