Great man! Gave conservatives a venue in which they can be heard and not censored and stifled and led the way for the silent majority not being so silent anymore. Conservatives owe him a huge debt of gratitude. He made a real difference in this world.

He was / is a cigarette smoker, as well as a cigar smoker (multiples a day) for most of his life, so it's not unexpected. You don't hear about lung cancer as much anymore, but it was dropping relatively young guys like flies through the 1990's, so he's had a pretty good run to make it to 69 plus.
