You may be confusing him with fellow "tall" Ironage bodybuilder Ed Van Amsterdam, who passed away in 2013, at age 40.

There is a small chance you are combining the 2013 deaths of Ed Van Amsterdam and Matt DuVall, both aged 40 at the time, because of Ed's height and Matt's time at MuscleTech, and conflating them with Scott's death.  Scott Milne was over six feet tall, and a MuscleTech bodybuilder too.

Use to live on Torey Pines way. Sold my house there and moved downtown Toronto.

We probably know each other that is a small town

Busted several times.  I would always tell him to stop that shit, he had so many good opportunities, but always wanted to take the easy route.

I will say this Scott was a solid dude.  Very nice guy.

yeah,

I remember faces very well, so if I saw you again I'm sure I'd recognise you. I used to train there for years.
Scott had a very good friend from high school, Noah. They used to train together. He's a massage therapist now in London.

I actually had him confused with Scott Klein.i did think you were right with Matt Duvall but then I remembered it being a Scott so I looked it up and it was Scott Klein.

From Garry Bartlett

Today comes the tragic news of the passing of Canadian Bodybuilding Pro Scott Milne. To say I am shocked is an understatement, as Big Scott was only 46. I got to follow Scott's Bodybuilding career as he progressed throughout the CBBF Canadian competitions where his best finish was second in the Super Heavyweight category at the 2002 Championships. On the basis of his impressive performance he was awarded an IFBB Pro card.

Big Scott was nicknamed the "Canadian Moose" due to his massive structure. Standing 6'3" and a ripped 300 pounds, Scott was a pretty intimidating sight on stage. More importantly, he was a humble guy and his kind heart matched his huge stature. I got to know Scott and we became friends. The ironic part, is that the year after he became a Pro he was preparing for his first show and got involved in a horrific car accident, which almost killed him. His injuries were so bad that the Doctors informed him that he would never compete again. But Scott wasn't going to listen to such nonsense and was back on stage a year later.

Unofficially, it is rumoured that he suffered a Heart Attack. For all of us who knew and loved Scott this is a very tough one to digest. My condolences go out to his family, fans and friends. RIP Big Fella!

I remember that guy. He's the guy who grew up on the apple orchard in Canada, isn't he?. I just saw a MuscleTech ad with him (for that abysmal-tasting Anator P-70) just a few days ago, from one of my old MuscleMag International issues.

Nothing to do with the lifestyle or steroids. An unfortunate genetic condition/defect.

He was on some podcast about mental health and addiction. Seems he's been struggling in life

listen to what he says around 40:30 about what the doctors warned him about  :-\

It's always a good idea to ignore nonsense that doctors who have treated you tell you to do.

Judging by these pics I think we can rule out steroids playing a part.
