I was watching Alien: Covenant, and, during a commercial, flipped past some red-carpet thing. A chocolate phaggot wearing a dress appeared, all phaggin’ out.

Couldn’t flip back to my channel fast enough.

Parasite was good. So far it has taken one Oscar. I'll have to see Once upon a time in Hollywood. Brad took home the Best Supporting Actor award. His little speech about Bolton was irritating though. He is another one of those out of touch Anti-Trump celebrities.

I'll be honest with you, I love his music - I do!  I'm a Michael Bolton fan. For my money, it doesn't get any better than when he sings "When a Man Loves a Woman".  :) 8)

Partly watched them. I don't think I was as interested that much this year. Having only seen one of the films makes comparison dillicult.

Those type of shit-shows bore me, even the one's for the subjects that I love (NHL awards, etc). No need...

Did not watch the Oscars as I have no desire to see all the "brave" anti Trump actors whining about the president.

Really? I'm very curious about this one, trying not read too much about it because I don't want any spoilers but the previews look super bizarre, which I love.

I remember back in the 90's when I was a child there would be endless discussions before and after the event. Now, it passes with barely anyone caring. Award shows have really died during the 21st century.
