Yorkie!

PRIME lives in Oregon!

And it seems we are both dog lovers. However, my pup is a Rat Terrier. I wouldn't want to have the handle, Mr. Rat Terrier. LOL!

Is that the House from Shining?

It wasn't a house. It was called the Overlook hotel. And the exteriors were shot at Timberline lodge.

I live near Seattle, but get down to Oregon frequently. My wife's kids live in Hillsboro. WA and OR are both awesome. I'm into landscape photography and have taken many images in both states. Waterfalls especially.

Hopefully, you live far enough out of the city and don't have to commute for work. The traffic in Seattle is horrendous.

You mean the Portland Police who shoot first and ask questions later if the person they shot survives, which is often not the case?

I have always liked the scenery of the western U.S.  If I didn't have family and friends in the east I would move back west.

No, the Portland police who sit back and do nothing, while masked thugs create violence and mayhem.

Who are you telling. I live about 17 miles south from my job in South Seattle and it usually takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

I still love Seattle for it's beauty and what it has to offer, but it's ruined otherwise. Too much traffic, too expensive and the people that used to actually be hip, cool and down to earth are mostly self-righteous douche bags now. Seattle has literally become a parody of itself. A damn shame.

Portland is till better, but it's catching up fast. My wife wants to move back down to Oregon. I'm thinking Salem, Corvallis or Eugene or someplace thereabouts. I'd have to be able to get a decent paying job though.

Don't believe everything you read or see in the media which very often only provides half the story.

I'd recommend Eugene or if you can find employment Corvallis. Imagine how much Portland has changed since my wife and I moved here in 1964. Change is good or so I've been told. Sometimes I must disagree.
