I don’t know who’s been “advising” Fury on how more “Weight” will give him
More power in his punches and “ground his feet better”....GTFOH, if you haven’t got power @ 256lbs you sure as hell haven’t got it @ 272lbs...this is boxing not a who’s got the bigger arms and legs contest.
All that extra weight will do for fury is make him less mobile, if not @ the early rounds definitely later rounds, you can’t stand and trade with a legitimate puncher because you think your body weight says so your ether born with it or your not, you can put on all the muscle, fat, bulk you want and all it will do is hinder you as the rounds go bye.
The smart money should be from wilder is too pressure him early a lot like last time except this time shorten his distance with both the jab and throw the right hand as a range finder @ fury’s chest..because we all know fury will try slip, duck and slide, shorten the distance stay on him make fury throw more than before sooner or later he will gas where he’s becoming less and less mobile or wilder will catch him anyway.
I stand bye my prediction the fight will be stopped via that cut opening up like a tin can people that don’t understand that even small cuts take a minimum 12 months too heal properly...his cut is massive 4 months is ridiculous taking into account your fighting a known big puncher in the very next fight, if the cut wasn’t a factor and fury came in again @ 250-255lbs I’d lean towards him too take a 12 round decision.
He has all the heart, boxing abilities and skills too win what he doesn’t have this time around is the proper physical sets and suspect mental state too win (weight and a compromised eye cut) last time he had a legitimate cause (mentally) this time imo he doesn’t and that imo is like blood too sharks for wilder.
