Doesn't anyone realize that if the virus is THAT deadly, it will always continue to spread once everything is "back to normal" no matter how long we are all "social distancing"?

The flu is endemic because it changes it surface antigens, this means that when we get it we can catch it again the next season because the immune system "indicators" have changed.... This is why the vaccine changes every season as it must be developed to target the newest antigens, it's what makes influenza such an impressive pathogen.

As this virus moves through the population community immunity will develop and the virus will eventually be eliminated or numbers will become very low.

I think it makes sense to assume low traffic means the are not getting around as much.

Wuhan still in lockdown after 2 months. That's how China controlled this virus. They went into lockdown when they had only 1000 cases. We can look to Wuhan to see how long lockdowns will last in areas where the virus is multiplying in high numbers.

Also it almost looks like they are deliberately trying to test out the heard immunity theory in London. They have done nothing to stop crowds in supermarkets and on transport. If anything the have encouraged/enabled it.

The Dutch seem to have been doing something similar and their numebr of infected cases and deaths is comparable to the British.

People on existing contracts not able to renew contracts.

People with a work phone and a personal phone cancelling one they don't need.
