10 or so deaths in 2 months Lockdown- Multiple deaths every day from traffic accidents & Nothing
Something seriously wrong going on - Stop The Lockdown Nonsense across the globe it’s utterly Ridiculous - We’re all going to Die some young some old some seemingly fit & well & some not so
That’s Life Let’s Get On with it & Enjoy everyday we can.

Hey spoke to an executive director at our prestigious Mayo Clinic and he said they have gone from 500 surgical cases a day to 5. Spoke to a head nurse at another hospital and she said they receive better reimbursement if they write COVID down on a patient's chart. Another exec told me numbers were being padded for more government money to flow their way.

This is all shocking..umm not.

I've heard similar. Those dying who had little to no medical insurance are bumped up to covid so that the hospital gets paid/paid more. (Maybe thin lizzy can connect the dots on this one...)

Today's Oregonian has an article about a marked increase in deaths of the past 6 weeks which are not apparently related to COVID-19. In many cases, the deaths occurred at home and not in a hospital. Additionally, nearly all the recently reported COVID-19 deaths in Oregon were people in their late 60's or older. Several who just recently died were in their 90's. In all cases, the folks had other health issues, primarily cardio vascular related.

The dots have been pretty much connected in Walters’ post. Pumping up the numbers means more of those freshly printed dollars for the hospitals, states and cities.

You have the main stream liberal media in this country claiming that the numbers have been under counted when a child can see that the opposite is true.

Here in New York City we have to keep up this charade because if people stop social distancing at the same time hospitalizations and deaths are dropping dramatically it harpoons the whole theory that social distancing was the reason for the decline.

This is another tragedy happening right before our eyes .Elective surgery is, by definition, any surgery that is scheduled so literally organ transplants are being delayed along with all types of cancer surgery, joint surgery/replacement etc.

https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/08/op-ed-cancer-surgeries-and-organ-transplants-are-being-put-off-for-coronavirus.html

Heartbreaking individual stories are emerging by the day. A 33-year-old man whose long-awaited liver transplant was canceled told NBC News it was a “death sentence.” After a 7-year-old boy’s urgently needed kidney transplant surgery was put on hold, his mother told the network’s Washington, D.C., affiliate it was a “nightmare” scenario, “but it’s not even the worst one you could find.”

I could not accept your definition of elective surgery because it just did not seem right. But, after looking up the medical definition of elective surgery, I can see where there is a lot of room for what is and what isn't considered elective surgery.

"Elective surgery: Surgery that is subject to choice (election). The choice may be made by the patient or doctor.

For example, the time when a surgical procedure is performed may be elective. The procedure is beneficial to the patient but does not need be done at a particular time.

As opposed to urgent or emergency surgery." https://www.medicinenet.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=14367

Seems as if someone's life is in immediate danger without surgery, it is not considered elective surgery.

Finally! I have been putting off going to Costco for my special treat, which is praline pecans because customers were allowed to shop shitting out their viral germs with every breath. Frankly, I'm surprised at the number of idiots who were willing to expose themselves to COVID-19 for a package of Kirkland brand toilet paper. Just think how laden with COVID-19 and who knows what other viruses the air inside a super box store like Costco is laden with. Thank you Costco!

Why isn’t that surprising - It’s so difficult to find any truth being accurately reported nowadays.
What are your thoughts on the Virus ? Man made / altered & Was it Deliberately released by the Chinese. I’m tending to think yes to them questions.

Covid19 is shit. Laughable shit.

America's response is a disgrace. Cowards telling other cowards to hide under their bed.

I'm 58 years old, weigh 245 pounds and have zero fear of that lame virus. This life never came with a guarantee. I hold nobody responsible for my well being.

Cowards!

What if you were driving and a drunk driving crashed into you and you were paralyzed.

Wouldn’t the drunk driver be responsible for negatively impacting your wellbeing?

Or, would you blame yourself for being on the road?

Stopping unbelievably quickly doesn't kill, it's the energy transferred from the car to the object being hit what kills.

Next to central bank money printing, medical billing is the biggest scam going. Not surprisingly both the scams are on full display during this “crisis.”

Shit like this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Lenox Hill Hospital to shell out $12.3M for submitting fake claims to Medicare

What types of people in NY would most likely be uninsured and therefore be submitted for free federal "corona" medicare, and where might they live?

In the “hotspots”  the black and Hispanic areas. The hospital in that piece is actually in a high income area. Can you imagine how bad it is in the low income areas?

:D Damn energy transfer! Can't trust anybody these days.

And I'm not sure getting fucked up by a drunk driver is a good comparison to contracting a virus. It's not a terrible comparison I suppose.

Again, this life has no warranty. I drive knowing I could get smashed by some drunk idiot. Allow me to go to the gym or play blackjack in a casino or have a drink in a bar with someone who may have Covid19. I'll take my chances. If it works out poorly please say nice things at my memorial.

and the old argument comes back, "but you might contaminate others"

Some people run businesses and have employees, bills and customers. Like I do. And as business slows down people lose their jobs. And state unemployment offices don't respond very quickly so a lot of people are going broke.

I guess that's kind of  a desperate need.
