My sister is a dr in Royal prince Alfred hospital Melbourne, today they tested 600 people for coronavirus.

Zero were positive.

India has recorded 60 confirmed coronavirus cases in total and that 60 includes 16 tourists from Italy.

The coronavirus may not like hot and humid weather. We're not hearing reports of many cases in South America, are we?

It could have something to do with the warm climate. Rate of virus survival is lower in warmer climates.

Add all those deaths up and it amounts to 60k a day, total deaths worldwide daily is 150k.This amount leads to most countries hospital beds on average being around 70-90% full, icus usually 90% or so.

This virus has the potential to infect 50% or more of the world population within the first year, that's 3.35 billion people, of which conservatively 15% would need hospital care, that's 500 million people, roughly 1.4 million people a day.

If that happens the vast majority would not get hospital care because there simply wouldn't be beds or icus available, then you are looking at 350 million dead or more, that's roughly 1 million dying a day.1 million vs your 60k graphic.

I understand they need ratings but... this is George Orwell 1984 type of stuff.

This isn't information, it's the deliberate intent on the part of the media to 1) create an atmosphere of panic, 2) make NO CONSTRUCTIVE ATTEMPTS to inform people of the illness and 3) to engage in the usual blame and name calling bonanza they are, in this day and age, know to engage in.

Cancer, heart disease, diabetes and suicide are not contagious.
All of those things have some form of treatment and all of them have armys of people working on solving or curing them.

How is that unaddressed?

The first place I saw this virus being regularly discussed was here . You can track the evolution of the how the media covered this story with that thread, by time and date. The gp didn't need the media to whip them into a frenzy.

The WHO confirmed COVID2019 as a Pandemic. Governments called to change the course of the outbreak by taking "urgent and aggressive action".

WHO is apart of the UN and it’s a scare tactic. During Obama’s reign of terror it took him more than four months and over thousand deaths to address the H1N1 and he caught little flak from it.
