Can I ask a question?
Considering the main epicenters of Covid-19 in the USA so far have been Washington, New York and New Jersey, why precisely are those governors and legislators not being scrutinized for the situation?
Instead, the focus seems to be only on other states run by Republicans.
You want a good comparison?
Here's one.
New York and Florida have a similar population size.
The current situation between the two is as follows:
New York
Total Covid-19 cases: 123,018
Total Covid-19 deaths: 4,159
Florida
Total Covid-19 cases: 12,350
Total Covid-19 deaths: 221
I would also point out that Florida also has a much larger elderly population.
So New York, despite having a similar population to Florida (smaller actually) has ten times the number of cases eighteen times the number of deaths.
Maybe Mayer de Blasio should have not been so vocal about telling New Yorkers to just go about their lives and that Covid-19 wasn't something to be concerned about?
And yes, you can find video of this on youtube.
