I guess that makes you the winner. What's the prize?
In the case of Straw, the pure unadulterated satisfaction of knowing I made light of a fucking moron that feeeeeeeeeeeeels he is better than people like me, i.e., Conservatives.
With my mental limitations, I have been belittled all my life. Add to that my physical handicap and well...A sense of humor really helps! My family raised me to deal with it and accept the truth that I am not a smart person. But my mom (throughout my life) and John taught to express myself with a sense of style and humor.
I do laugh at myself. How could I not? I was very skinny in my youth (at 10 I was 4' 11" and weighed 45 lbs.) and when I began weight training it was not to beat up those that picked on me but rather to make them think more than twice about even trying to harm me.
It worked. As I grew, I never physically picked on anyone but I have put myself between those that would harm another that was so much smaller than them. Here in the Matrix, I use words. My vocabulary is nowhere near as vast as John's or Khan's but my wit is nigh on second to none. My mother would read (and take the time to explain) Jonathan Swift to me. That alone should tell you something of my upbringing.
