No doubt about this one.  Amazing.  Still a record to this day - winning the WBA, IBF, and lineal heavyweight titles at age 45!!  Literally under 10 weeks to his 46th birthday!  And he didn't lose another fight until age 48, when he retired.

I can't believe out of 81 fights, he was only finished ONCE, by Muhammad Ali...I'm the first person to assume most MMA fighters - at least the heavyweights - would beat heavyweight boxers...but I can't say I feel that way about George Foreman.  I'm flabbergasted that Ali managed to KO him - and when Foreman was an undefeated 25-year-old, to boot!

it wasnt a KO, he was exhausted...he was just too tired to get up in time and carry on...

Yes - I do understand that it was a major war of attrition.  But technically, it was recorded as a KO.
