I always try to keep up with current trends on eating and dieting, have browsed many forums, reddits subs etc, but nowhere do I see the kind of results these people get.The overwhelming trend is the people who water fast, and truly stick to it, as in no food, just water for 7/10/14/21/28 days +, lose an insane amount of bodyfat and very little muscle.I say that from picture observations and people who have had muscle mass, bodyfat etc tested professionally before and after , which is the most minimal muscle loss I've seen from most diets.
Typically days 1 and 2 are easy, 3 and 4 the most difficult, then by day 5 hunger essentially goes.Only things you need to do it, are excess bodyfat, or your body will start burning muscle and organ tissue. Electrolytes, with potassium and sodium being all you really need, some add magnesium too.Potassium and sodium can be got with one teaspoon full of lite table salt in water once a day.And lastly obviously water, 1 litre+ a day.
People usually burn around 2/3 of a pound to a pound of bodyfat a day and keep it off once they resume eating, obviously gaining some of the water back when they introduce carbs. One guy went a year with just water and lost 300 pounds, with no negative effects on any measurable hospital test he took. Its really looking like eating anything, if you are mentally strong enough, is a complete waste of time while dieting.
