His name rings a bell, but I might be thinking of a Cokerill.  Sounds like a definite classic/Ironage English name.

Much like Canning.  Although England's only Prime Minister Canning - George Canning - was actually Irish.

I'm pretty sure my dad is all English though.

Darren - I liked that guy whose picture you posted who you said "Jeez - I bet he crushes all."

Big dude!

Looked like a happy guy too!  :)

Rather pound my meat to porn than to commit to that sludgy whale.

Congratulations to the happy couple!

Fortress,

I did a typical Matt C tl;dr post, talking about how great Darren's posts are, but then my browser crashed.

It was essentially stating that Darren values things like physical prowess, fighting skill, and actual athletic ability over the sheer ability to gain muscle mass.

But it's interesting how others see things differently - another person can see a juiced bodybuilder who is aesthetic yet cannot walk up a flight of stairs without getting winded and be impressed, but I feel that Darren consistently looks at underlying skill.

Here is an example of such a clash with Darren's views compared with those of Getbig's own Hulkotron:

I had gathered up a few of Darren's threads to basically show how Darren has a keen eye for a man's power and rugged nature, as opposed to how much lean mass he can flex/pump after a biceps workout.

Out of curiosity, Fortress - and only given that you mentioned that a person in one of Darren's posts was a whale...what do you make of this powerful-looking individual that Darren posted about in this thread?:

LOL!!!!

Nix my question, Fortress!  I realized you already answered that question here:

He looks like a friendly and likeable fellow.

Agreed completely.
