It is huge weight but the guy is 500lbs and 3’ thick and his arms look short.for some reason I can’t be that impressed by it. Im more impressed with your benching.

Not so in terms of his Bodyweight to weight ratio.

Yeah I always say the same shit about these 4-500 lb guys.its crazy weight that I prob couldn’t even budge but still more impressive seeing a 200lber bench 405 in my eyes.He just looks like a big fat fuck.

Maddox weighs around 446 lbs. If he benches 800 lbs at that body weight he will be benching around 1.8 times his weight. 770 lbs at his weight comes to a ratio of around 1.72.

The 200 lbs guy benching 405 lbs is at a ratio of just over 2. So Julius is getting up there in terms of ratio. And it becomes a lot more difficult at the elite heavyweight level. It is very impressive in my opinion.

I personally can't bench 1.72 times my own weight. I can't even do 1.5 times. At least I can press more than my own weight though. Lol!

What's you ratio Rob?

If he gets up to 1.8 x BW that’s a fair ratio - 2x BW very good
That 770lbs is a Huge amount to Bench.
Though as Rob states looking like a huge fat blob isn’t impressive
And a Muscular lighter man benching x2+ BW is.

I’ve done 500 at 255.Cant do it anymore.I said it’s crazy weight that I couldn’t budge at this point. But I’m sticking with he is a giant fat fuck and I’m not that impressed overall, though I am impressed with the weight itself.

My buddy says it was 515 but I think it was 500.This was on 400 mgs of eq weekly many years ago.also gym bench no pause, but no lift and no hands on bar either.

That’s an impressive bench press 👍🏻 Good going.

Thank you sir.I was big into benching, dips, narrow grip bench and military press for a while and would do 20 sets of bench one day,20 sets of dips one day etc... and it did what I wanted it to do (500 bench was the goal) but fucked my shoulder as well.

500lb Bench Club 👍🏻

That sounds much like me Before My Accident- Put Paid to any heavy pressing movements.
Though all my joints are fine for a 59yr young un.

Do use any joint medication ?
Only I’m a firm believer in Glucosamine & Chondroitin Have 3 tabs every day.

No I don’t take anything, you think it actually works?Always sceptical about vitamins etc...but was just thinking about it yesterday.

Comparatively I’m not as impressed as lighter bench guys is all I’m saying.A huge giant 450lber doing it just looks like a big fat fuck.Obviously it’s a retarded bench just rather see a lighter guy go double is all.

I can say from my personal experience it’s definitely helped me.
I went through a very bad phase (years ago) where Knees / Elbows / Shoulders really Were hurting
& I was thinking I’d have to stop Heavy lifting - I was recommended them by Former World Powerlifting
Champion Tony Stevens - and i’ve Taken them since - They took a good few months to start to have a positive effect & I was doubling up on dosages. I now don’t & haven’t had any joint problems for many years. I’ve given others I’ve helped the same tablets & dosages & they've improved also.
For what it cost me a year $40/50 I’m not stopping taking them.
I’d say definitely worth a 6-9mnth go & see how you go.

No particular brand - I look for reasonably priced quality brands -
Look for a Ratio of 500mg Glucosamine & 400mg chondroitin
I’d start with 2000mg & 1600mg daily

I hope they help you as they have Me.

Maybe it was a Jimmy "Iron Bull" Pellechia bench press.
