Coronavirus - Who’s Calling Bullshit

On March 1, 2020, I ran in a 5K with over 5000 other runners in Manhattan. At the start of these races, everyone is crammed into corrals and has to stand there for about 15 minutes. It was my fourth race of this type this year. The point is that social distancing didn’t start until very recently. So, the Virus had the entire winter, the heart of flu season, to do its thing in New York City, which has the largest Chinese population in America, yet at no point did I ever hear about any hospitals being overrun or even that it was an unusually bad flu season.

I’m at the point where I’m laughing at these idiots walking around wearing masks.

Even though I'll do anything to avoid wearing masks, I see no harm to others in doing so. Being claustrophobic, whenever I've tried to wear a mask of any kind, it makes me very anxious and I feel as if I cannot breathe. If I were contagious, I would choose to isolate myself rather than wear a mask.

Saw a few people wearing masks at the supermarket this morning.

One guy had it over his mouth but not over his nose.  

A couple women with masks and very determined expressions.  

Meanwhile the cashier was talking a blue streak and handling everyone's food items.  No hand sanitizer in sight.

This. All this social distancing and avoiding the public is useless when you consider how many hands have handled the food items you’re buying and putting in your mouth. Now just imagine the hygiene levels of your local fast food employee, or your Uber Eats driver....

China has had approx 80.000 cases & 4500 deaths out of a population of 1.4+ billion
And is now seeing the new infections rate drop each day.

In the U.K. approx 20,000 Die each year due to Flu out of a population of 65milion
No lock downs / no hysteria/ no avoid people/ just a flu jab around October time.

Something not adding up with No’s and the level of response in terms of trying to
(& Achieving) Control of People & mass hysteria.

Will be keeping an eye on what happens in Italy over the next 2-3wks in terms of
New cases & deaths.

I hope we come out of it with a new global financial answer to devaluation of debt via QE mechanism in order to inflate wages (and prices but debt gets devalued).

Old people are rocking up and dying 24hrs later before they are tested. They are not diagnosed as corona and therefore not recorded as a corona death.

The numbers are WAY off base with what is reslly happening. When you see.your social media friends posting about them or family being sick, you know it's everywhere. Peak is supposed to be in 8 weeks time according to Goldman Sachs.

Very sadly the Old & infirm are always going to be the most vulnerable in any health related

I was at the grocery store yesterday standing in line at the cash and the cashier kept coughing without covering her mouth. I said fuck that and went immediately to the self-serve cashes.
