On March 1, 2020, I ran in a 5K with over 5000 other runners in Manhattan. At the start of these races, everyone is crammed into corrals and has to stand there for about 15 minutes. It was my fourth race of this type this year. The point is that social distancing didn’t start until very recently. So, the Virus had the entire winter, the heart of flu season, to do its thing in New York City, which has the largest Chinese population in America, yet at no point did I ever hear about any hospitals being overrun or even that it was an unusually bad flu season.
I’m at the point where I’m laughing at these idiots walking around wearing masks.
