i learned german and turkish,german cause i was born in germany and i live in germany and turkish cause i am a turke.in school i learned english and french,but i don`t have french lessons anymore and i forgot most of my frenchskills(?) the reason why i can speak relatively well english is that i hear nearly only english music ,watch a lot mtv and hang around on getbig

+ they teach us very well english here in germany

It proves how arrogant we americans are. Our system doesnt require us to learn other languages. I think it makes for a more well rounded person to know others culture.
