OK people enough is enough.  I used to have a 1972 El Camino. Nasty hot rod. Very fast. But if that fucker sat too long and I didn't drive it, it wouldn't start. And the one time it sat way too long it cost a fortune to get that fucker running again.

I have not yet seen one robot able to do any of these things. So what you are expecting is totally unrealistic. Nothing is free because energy is not free. Plants can use the sun for energy but humans can't. We can harness it but it is not free. Somebody has to make solar panels, the energy can't be stored, the sun does not always shine.

Shutting down the economy will be much worse than a virus outbreak. Pretty soon the cure will be more damaging than the virus.

I predict the shit will hit the fan if these lockdowns are extended every 3 weeks indefinitely. And it will start with the Dindus who can't control themselves. Then people will start defending their shit and before you know it mayhem breaks out.

Are all building departments open? Construction for new projects can't proceed until plans have been reviewed and approved. Yes I know not all contractors get permits for roofing for example. But commercial project do require permits. I am not hearing any construction going on in our neighborhood.

The economy is going to be fucked soon. I know some people that already lost their jobs.

One way or another economically we have to slow down or we risk the value of the dollar skyrocketting and making our goods undesirable to other countries. This country is not an island we are intertwined to the rest of the world. Its called a global economy. A 2 trillion dollar stimulus might work, im not an economist, but i believe (this is my uneducated understanding) the slowing of our economy is actually vital long term. We could also lower the cost of our goods overseas to match deflation but then youd have to lower wages and then lower costs of living and essential goods and services ( rent food electricity water) and oh my lord is that complicated.

Basically i believe Trump is keeping us in balance with the rest of the world, which is hurting bad. I have faith both in God and our elected president. Hes not an idiot.

I am very interested in Trumps attempts to give aid to nkorea and iran. I see massive upside to the pandemic if trump can parlay correctly. The president of nkorea is young, the time is right he could make allys with the US and move his people into the 21st century. End the standoff with skorea. He would be remembered as a hero forever and ever. Imagine how stabilizing that would be, for the whole world. Trump is eyeing the opportunity i think. I really really hope hes succesful.

China fucked up big time. They literally depend on us for food. We can manufacture cheap goods here or in mexico. Right now every casualty of the chinese virus was someone to someone. When the world has the pandemic under control, a lot if very hurt very angry people all over the world are going to want payback and no one is going to forgive and forget that china tried to keep the outbreak from being known. They put the world months behind. They should have closed their borders in december when the outbreak started.  China should have handled the situation responsibly and kept it from spreading. Instead they let their problem become everyone elses problem.

I could be wrong but i think the powers that be (in china) are going to regret their decision.
