Dexter vs Shawn Ray feud heating up.

Shawn is SOOO fucking overrated it's beyond laughable. Excellent physique absolutely. a great bodybuilder? NO by no fucking metric. Dex won more contests in 2008 alone than Shawn won in his entire career!!! now factor in Dex won more shows in 2004 than Shawn did his entire career and again in 2013 and in 2016. Dex has 29 wins I believe with an Sandow and Shawn won 2 fucking contests  You can argue who had the better physique but under no circumstances can you argue who was the superior bodybuilder. And I personally believe Dex would beat Shawn at their respective bests.


Dexter was 100% spot-on about everything with the exception of let the 90s guys compete today and then would have trouble! The 90s guys who couldn't win were " full " and just couldn't come dialed in at that weight. So they lost to the guys who could. And it's all irrelevant because no one is weighing people on-stage. The 1990s is the highwater mark for professional bodybuilding specifically because of the size , shape and conditioning.

Dex was also right about Shawn creating buzz to keep his name relevant , He started that Digital Muscle Media looking to create controversy and views. Shawn is very good as promoting himself to be something more than what he was which was a mediocre bodybuilder.

Close, but no.   He was turned more to the front and was laughing, he was not really flexing or hitting a pose, more relaxed.

Shawn takes the cake - doesn't have the accolades because of the competition in what was a stronger era (as would Dex not have anything next to his name if he was up against Dorian and the likes)

Both good but Dexter could never get dry enough to beat Ray at his best, or being that dehydrated his weaknesses would stand out more especially his calves, Im a fan of both guys but modern bodybuilding and the insulin full look hides a lot weaknesses. Dexter better overall structure, but shawn just got harder and  was more complete. Bodybuilding at the very top is more about what you haven't got.

Shawn has stated this whether true or not but he said he never used insulin, from his looks might be true

Dexter is an idiot, contradicts himself all the time, in his last interview, he states that anyone of the guys now are bigger than the 90’s and could stand toe to toe with them, says different eras can’t be compared, then proceeds to say his prime would beat Shawn’s prime.

If the 90’s era wasn’t so tough why do a lot of people (I don’t think he is imo) say flex wheeler is the best bber ever?? he never won the O, or Kevin?? Ronnie, Dorian, are in the 90’s and they are mentioned as some of the best, again, 90’s guys.

no he’s not prime flex and Kevin no contest, I noticed the thing dexter really pushes is because certain guys from the 1990s didn’t have shredded “glutes” that is a point of reference too say there were not “conditioned” enough too win nowadays GTFOH just take a look @ a prime flex...Ray...Yates...Lev rone...munzer...etc etc take a look @ there faces their body fat levels are so low they look like death masks but he seems too over look those things because he has a Preoperative preoccupation with how diced bodybuilders asses are

In his prime dexter was very good but imo not good enough too beat a prime Yates...Coleman...Wheele r...levrone...or Shawn Ray he’d be battling with a prime Chris Cormier for 5th or 6th place in that lineup if all things were equal (all in their respective primes)

Both have great physiques but I don’t know how anyone thinks dexter has a better physique than shawn. I’ve never been a fan of dexters physique. Shawn just looked better.

Personally I prefer shawns physique just.
It’s one of those unanswerable questions as they didn’t compete against
Each other at their respective peaks.

Let’s just say they’re both Extremely Good Physiques.
