While I don`t understand why, the night show ALWAYS brings in a much larger crowd than the pre-judging. I realize it is for the "fans", friends, family, ect.....but to let EVERYONE pose except the top 5 is a huge waste of time. I really only enjoy the evening portion ( when in the audience ) as a chance to see weight class winners compared to each other.

tyhey should re-instate the challenge round as actually meaning somehtng.   and take the posing round out and make it its own contest.

Bob won straight 1's the entire night, despite his horrible conditioning in the evneing show.  So it's not like he lost a few points at night but won thanks to the morning.   Did any fans actually believe that Bob looked the best in the evening show?   He was on in the AM, but was very watery by the posedown (which he also won with a perfect score????

  Bob had the overal best physique every round and deserved to win. I'm so proud of him. Let your jealousy go and congratulate the man.

Dude, what is your problem?

Anyone who looked at those pictures could tell that bob was a perfect score in any round.

Hell if he showed up like that at the Olympia I bet he would win that with a perfect score too.

Well, umm, providing that it was as fixed as the masters is....but....the weiders already have their boy in place for that contest.

In the pro ranks I think it matters if its CLOSE..

In Amateur contest not at all, just for entertainment.. I didnt mind, because after pre judging we woul dgo pig out a bit ;)

Then id be asking everyone if I still had abs  ;D  I was a paranoid freak  :o

It is one of things that is just tradition. The bodybuilding shows of days gone by wanted the prejudging to be how it was actually judged, (remember PI and the 1975 Olympia PJ had a small group, very quiet watching)
The night show is a display and a show, but not meant to be a serious aspect of the contest.
