Unemployment question
« on: April 22, 2020, 06:30:23 AM »
How are people refusing to go back to their jobs and instead collecting unemployment since it pays more for many right now? I thought that you had to go back or you would lose those benefits. I have heard that even with the loans that businesses are/were getting that employees weren't going back for that reason.

Unemployment here in Aus has doubled from 570$ fortnightly to 1100 $ fortnightly.

What is the increase in USA?

Additional increase of $600 on top of what you would normally get. My state is a max of $362 so total of $962 combined weekly.

Yeah so it's jumped even more than here..

As you say why would anyone getting these increases be rushing out for work? They will all be chilling as long as it stays high.

How long are the increases planned? In Australia it is 6 months but I think the rate will probably not go all the way down and will be elevated from the original baseline after the 6 months end.

The extra $600 is for just until the end of July, but unemployment benefits themselves (normal amount) are extended longer than normal. Forget how long that is, though. I think somewhere around 30 weeks where I am at.

They get more money from unemployment, that is an answer. I don't think the government follows everyone and checks their current working state. The number of available vacancies on https://ca.jooble.org/jobs/Surrey%2C-BC and other job searching websites is growing day by day. People feel okay sitting at home without a good job.

If you’re collecting, and you’re offered your job back, if you turn it down you lose unemployment. Most people weren’t let go permanently.

At this point the UE rate is only 6% as this was a fake crisis and we are easily bouncing back now that the government isn’t tightening the screws as the stimulus is a done deal and they won’t be able to do another of this size.

Cut him some slack.  He's taking some leisure time for "life balance."

I will be SO, SO, SO impressed by a 16 year old overrated truck. Wow that is TOTALLY balling, you’re big time now bro. You might be able to afford the gynecomastia surgery in the next couple of years to ween your family off your bitch tits.

You suckers of homeless man cock will never learn. You end up crying like Matt C and following me around the board until you end up like Primehomosexual.

2 months to scrape up $200 - that is living XFactor style!

It’s easy for you to want to make a bet.

Because you cry to the Mods to delete your account to keep from paying when you lose.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

TALK ABOUT A BROKEASS BITCH!

You haven’t posted the conditions of the bet. If it is that you’re going to post a video of a 16 year old POS truck and impress me....you’ve already lost.

You are easily stupid enough to be a UK gimmick. You’re not quite retarded enough to be Goodrum or Howard, but if you swallow a couple hundred gallons of semen, you’d be close.

If your employer offers too few hours or substantially lower wages, you are not obligated to return to work. Also, the employer must provide a safe working environment or you have the right to refuse the offer.

You don’t have the money to pay.

It would be like me selling Groink supplements or sending money to Arce.

Try again brokeass bitchboi. This attempt was weak and isn’t going to get you the info you need.
