I didn’t read the post, just the fallout afterwards, but I believe it was something to do with defending pedophelia or at least underage people having sex with over 18. Again, I didn’t read the initial post, just what I picked up after.

By "pedophilia", are we talking about sex with a 17-year-old, or sex with a 7-year-old?  Because there is a world of difference between sex with someone young who has been through puberty and is capable of reproducing and sex with someone who has not been through puberty.

Human beings have evolved to have sex with people of reproductive age - that's why we are able to reproduce at those ages.

As sick as it may sound to some people, it would not be illegal for a 50-year-old to have sex with a 17-year-old anywhere in Canada.  Why I would be bothered by that pairing is because there would presumably be a large discrepancy in life experience.  And I would take issue with that.  But that example is not technically illegal.

So with that said, was TA making a nuanced post like this with respect to "pedophilia", or was he straight-up defending sex between an adult in a child who has not gone through puberty?  Because I could not condone a post like that.

I have found Ron to be rather tolerant.  For example, I have stated on here that I do not believe that Hitler had the extermination of Jews as an express policy of his Reich, but rather, that Jews in WWII died as a result of warfare, not qualitatively different from any of the other, you know, 60 MILLION PEOPLE who lost their lives in that war.

I'm not going to believe things without evidence, and all that the left seems to do is bully people into submission when it comes to believing the dumb shit they claim to be fact.  Hence why we live under a Trump presidency.  People are sick of leftist bullies.

But Ron is a card-carrying Republican, and I have always found him to be open-minded.  This leads me to believe that TA must have been banned for a valid reason.

I see that chaos is curious as to why TA was banned as well - and if it's ok with the other mods - I would like to see this thread stay open.  Only because I am curious to determining the exact reason why TA was banned.  We've already narrowed it down to support of pedophilia, and I'm just curious if it was something like laughing at a pedophilia joke, or something like expressly supporting a known sex offender.  Again, there's some nuance here, and I just want to figure out exactly what happened.

I had never known TA to support pedophilia, but I grant that maybe I missed those posts.  I also want to be clear - I'm not supporting TA if he did endorse pedophilia in some way...I just think everyone deserves their day in court, and I just want to figure out what happened here that merited a banning.  I suspect it was something serious, but again - I just don't know, and want to find out the truth.
