Yeah he's really shrunk...

He had that hip replacement back in early 2000's I wonder if that cost him an inch due to posture, he's stooped over more now too,...

Stallone still pretty straight, I think he's a year or two older than Arnold too?

And Stallone has had back and neck surgery.

It's so unfortunate they put their ego's aside and became friends so late in life. We could have had some action classics back in the day.  I remember there was that one WWII movie Arnold was supposed to be involved in playing a defecting German soldier. Would have been cool to have Sly play an Allied soldier in that one.

Or a part of Sgt. Rock's Easy Company in that project Arnold never got off the ground. I think Escape Plan is a pretty solid movie and very remincient of those good early 90's action movies. If it had been released back then, it would have been such a huge blockbuster imo.

Both guys credit Steve Reeves and the Hercules movie from the 1950's as an inspiration, and I remember when I was a kid and heard Sly refer to Reeves I thought what an old reference that is. Just a totally different era.

Now Sly and Arnie are near 80 and my generation of 40 somethings have all the fond memories of being kids in the 80s and wanting to lift weights after an Arnold or Sly movie.

I guess kids now think we sound just as old as Sly and Arnie did back then referring to Reeves.
